ReMax Nexus BBB Business Review

The towns of Dacono, Firestone and Fredrick make up the Carbon Valley area. The population is young with many parks and miles of hiking trails.

The small farming town of Dacono, located midway between Fort Collins and Denver, is located in Colorado’s Carbon Valley.

The town of around 4,000 residents has roots in coal mining, farming and the railroad. It is home to one of only nine American Bicycle-Association-sanctioned BMX tracks in the U.S. Nearby towns include Longmont and Firestone.

In the top 300 of the “best green cities”.

Home ownership is high in Firestone with fast growing retail outlets and businesses.

Situated midway between Fort Collins and Denver, both only 20 minutes away, and with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains, it's no surprise Firestone has experienced one of the fastest growth rates in the state over the last decade.

The town of Firestone was established in 1908. According to Green Light on the Tipple by Eleanor H. Ayer, Firestone can claim perhaps more firsts than many of its neighbors. It had the first saloon, first post office and the first lumber store in the area.

Gained recognition for its fabulous network of park and recreation areas. Firestone's 10,000 residents have access to 18 parks and five miles of trails, which connect to the St. Vrain Legacy Trail as well as the Front Range Trail System.

A few miles to the south, I-25 connects with the E-470 Beltway, providing direct access to the Denver International Airport.

Earns two awards for safest community, #6 in the U.S. and #2 in Colorado.

Home to St. Vrain State Park.

Fredrick, a former mining town founded by three young women, has a rich history that the town embraces and celebrates throughout the year.
